May 2010 Town Elections

May 4, 2010: Town Elections Incorporated towns of Hamilton, Leesburg, Lovettsville, Middleburg, Purcellville, and Round Hill only
  • Monday, April 12, 2010, 5:00 p.m., is the last day to register to vote.
  • Tuesday, April 27, 2010, is the last day to request an absentee ballot to be mailed.
  • Saturday, May 1, 2010, 5:00 p.m., is the last day to vote an absentee ballot in person.

Absentee Voting In Person and By Mail

ABSENTEE VOTING BY MAIL
  • You must first apply for an absentee ballot. Click here to link to the State Board of Elections website for an application form.
  • Absentee ballot applications must be hand-carried, mailed or faxed to the Loudoun County Registrar's at 801 Sycolin Rd., S.E., Suite 102, Leesburg, VA 20175, Fax: 703-777-0622.
  • Mailed ballots must be RECEIVED by the Registrar's Office by election day, 7:00pm.
  • Complete information about absentee voting in Loudoun County and dates, locations and times for in person absentee voting can be obtained on the Loudoun County Registrar's Web Site

Other Election Info

I.D. IS REQUIRED TO VOTE

All voters are required to present identification at the polls. Having a proper I.D. immediately available will enable you to vote without delay.

Acceptable forms of I.D. can be any ONE of the following:

  • Voter Registration Card
  • Original Social Security card
  • Valid Virginia Drivers' License
  • Other I.D. issued to you by a government agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia, one of the Commonwealth's political subdivisions, or the United States
  • Valid employee I.D. card containing your photo and issued by your employer in the ordinary course of the employer's business

If you do not have an acceptable form of I.D. you must complete an affirmation of identity BEFORE you can vote.
